Please read our policies before registering for any course offered at the Yadkin Valley Fiber Center. By submitting payment for a course, you acknowledge and affirm to adherence to all the Center’s policies and procedures.
Health and Wellness Guidelines -
We ask that all participants follow the recommended guidelines as set forth by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human resources which can be found at covid19.ncdhhs.gov/
We feel one of the key indicators to being sick is an elevated temperature regardless of vaccination status. We will be taking a temperature check on all participants, instructors, and assistants, and are asking everyone to wear a mask when entering and exiting the building and not in your creative space. We hope our policy makes you feel comfortable and safe when taking a course or visiting our center.
REGISTRATIONS
All courses at the Yadkin Valley Fiber Center have limited availability. This is to guarantee a stimulating learning environment for all. To ensure your place, and for us to confirm with the instructor it’s best to register well before the registration deadline. Signing up early not only holds your seat in the course, but also helps determine the status of the class. Within 3-5 business days of your registration, you will receive a welcome email. If you do not receive a confirmation of your registration within one week, please contact Leslie Fesperman HERE.
TRAVEL
As many of our instructors journey from afar, the Yadkin Valley Fiber Center has courses on the schedule nearly a year in advance. In an effort to ensure the viability of each course offering, we require a deposit for classes. Once the minimum number of participants is reached we confirm the class and we ask that travel arrangements be made and invoices be paid in full. This is usually 30 days prior to the date of the course. As the date of your course approaches, you will receive detailed information regarding your course (including any preparatory instructions or required materials) transportation, lodging, and Yadkin Valley amenities.
PAYMENT
The payment required for registration varies depending on the course. Please visit our Course Descriptions and Registration page for details regarding your specific course of interest. The cost for each learning opportunity is indicated at the bottom of each description.
CANCELLATIONS
If The Yadkin Valley Fiber Center cancels a workshop for any reason, all students receive a full refund. Deposits are non-refundable unless the class is canceled by The Center. Students who cancel 30 days prior to their course’s date are refunded the cost of the course minus the initial deposit and a $25 processing fee. Any cancellation made less than 30 days before a workshop is non-refundable.
