The warp-faced weaving possible on an inkle loom is ideal for making belts and straps. Inkle looms are versatile, portable, easy to warp, and a snap to weave on. This course will introduce students to the basics of inkle loom setup and weaving. Students will practice for several inches before starting the desired project of either a looped key fob or hatband. The focus of this course is to understand the loom and to build a foundation for future exploration of patterns and other inkle loom weaving forms.

Materials, use of equipment and lunch are uncluded in class fee $125. Participants are welcome to bring their own inkle loom.
